Welcome to the Nueva Galicia Genealogical Society website.

Our vision Statement: Family historians organized to provide a forum for genealogical research and to exchange data, information and ideas related to their Nueva Galicia origins.

We are a small group of genealogists who are mostly focused on researching our family roots from the area formerly known as Nueva Galicia. Nueva Galicia was comprised of the modern day states of Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Aguascalientes. Although that is the primary focus of our group, membership is not strictly restricted to those areas and any interested researcher is welcome to join our group.

To join our group, please click on the Officers link to the left of the page and e-mail any of the officers listed there. You may also click on the Meetings link for information on our upcoming meeting and attend one of our meetings before deciding to become a member.
